アンデス山脈を車で南下するロドリゲスとしずかちゃん。ロドリゲスは黙々と運転している

Rodriguez and Shizuka chan are traveling south through the Andes by car. Rodriguez sits silently behind the wheel.

しずかちゃん：
ロド、さっきから黙ったままで、何を考えてるの…？ |
Shizuka chan:
Rod. You've been so quiet since a short while ago. Will you tell me what's on your mind....? |
ロドリゲス：
…… |
Rodriguez:
....... |
しずかちゃん：
ねぇ？ねぇったら、ロド？ そうだわ、アルファベットチョコレート食べる？ |
Shizuka chan:
Hey, are you with me, Rod? Oh, yes. Care for some Alphabet chocolate? |
ロドリゲス：
…ちょっと静かにしてくれないかな？きみとしゃべってると、運転に集中できないんだよ （しずかちゃんをアメリカに帰さずにここまで連れてきてしまったけれど、本当にこれでよかったんだろうか？彼女を危険な目に遭わせることは間違いないだろう…） |
Rodriguez:
.... Please just be quiet for a while, will ya? I can't concentrate on driving if you keep talking to me like that. (Instead of letting her go back to the U.S, I've brought her all the way down here. But I'm not sure if that was really the right thing to do. I could be putting her in danger....) |
しずかちゃん：
実は、あなたがスリムボーン社の副社長に調査書類を渡して、二度と戻らない旅に出たとバーバラさんから聞いたの |
Shizuka chan:
To tell the truth, I heard from Barbara that after you handed in the incriminating papers to the vice president of Slim Born, you'd packed your bags for good. |

あなたを１人で行かすことはできない、わたし、そう思ったわ だから、あなたがコロンビアのミゲルさんに会いに行くって聞いて、先まわりして待ってたの… ロド、わたしがここに来たこと、やっぱり怒ってるのね？ |
Shizuka chan:
I began to realize that I couldn't let you go alone. Those were my thoughts. I heard that you were going to see Miguel who lives in Colombia: so I beat you to it, waiting for you to come. Rod, I came all the way down here with you: are you angry about that? |
ロドリゲス：
いいや |
Rodriguez:
No. |
しずかちゃん：
わたし、過去も未来も捨てたの。今この時だけ、ロドのそばにいる。それだけでいい |
Shizuka chan:
I abandoned my past and future. I am here with you at this precious moment. That's all I want. |
ロドリゲス：
…きみは、タツヤくんを…？ |
Rodriguez:
What about Master Tatsuya....you....? |
しずかちゃん：
わたしはタツヤを捨てたわ…。母がわたしにしたのと同じように。ぜったいに、ぜったいにするまいって心に誓ったのに。あの子は、きっとわたしを憎むでしょう 思うの。わたしたちが出会ったときから、こうなることは決まってたって。望むと望まざるとに関わらず…運命だったのよ |
Shizuka chan:
I abandoned Tatsuya.... Like my mother did to me. I've kept telling myself never ever to do that, though. He will hate me for the rest of his life. Say, it was fated since we first met each other. Even if we wanted it or not....it was destiny. |
ロドリゲス：
（しずかちゃん…きみはそこまで決心を…。であれば、おれはどんなことをしてでも、きみを守らなければ…） ああ、そうさ、しずかちゃん。運命だったのさ―― |
Rodriguez:
(Shizuka chan...you are so determined like that. So, I have to protect you at any cost....) Oh, yes, Shizuka chan. We were meant to be together-. |
