潤子ちゃん：
（バシバシ床をたたく）麗子、ちょっとここ座んなさい |
Junko chan: (patting the floor) Reiko, come over here and sit down. |
麗子：
なによ、おねーちゃん？お父さんみたいな話し方して |
Reiko: What, sis? You sound just like Dad! |
潤子ちゃん：
麗子、あんた短大はどうしたの？ |
Junko chan: Reiko, what happened with the junior college you're supposed to go? |
麗子：
え、短大？あ～もう行かへんことにした♪ |
Reiko: Ha? Junior college? Ah, I've decided not to go there anymore. |
潤子ちゃん：
は！！？行かへんて、それどういうこと！？ |
Junko chan: Whaaaaaat!!!? Not to go there? What do you mean by that? |
麗子：
ぶっちゃけ、飽きちゃってん♪ |
Reiko: If you want to know the truth, I'm sick and tired of it. |
潤子ちゃん：
飽きたって…そんなこと許されると思ってるの？ |
Junko chan: Sick and tired of it? Do you think it's acceptable to behave like this? |
麗子：
だって、毎日、毎日、合コンばっかりなんやもん |
Reiko: You know, all I did was go to gokon parties, one after another, day after day. |
潤子ちゃん：
あほやね。大学はそういうところなのよ 結婚式でよく司会の人が言ってるでしょ。「おふたりは友達の紹介で知り合いました」とか、「おふたりの馴れ初めはテニスサークルです」とか。こんなの全部、合コンのことなんだから |
Junko chan: Are you crazy? That's what school is all about. I'm telling you...the master of ceremonies at a wedding party is always saying: "Their friends introduced them to each other" or "What brought them together was a tennis club". All these things, you know, are gokon parties. |

わたし、もっと刺激がほしいねん。それに比べたら、ほら、アメリカって、なんかスゴいことありそうやん♪ |
Reiko: I'm just craving something more thrilling, you know. Compare to that...it must be really awesome in the US, don't you think? |
潤子ちゃん：
ここはね、あんたみたいないい加減な考え方で生きていけるところと違うのよ！ （は～～～～～～～ ため息をつく）お父さんとお母さんは、あなたが短大やめること知ってるの？ |
Junko chan: No, this isn't a place for people who are hopelessly irresponsible like you! (haaaaaaaa. Sighing) Do mom and dad know that you left junior college? |
麗子：
知らんのとちゃうかな？ここへ来ることも言ってへんし♪ |
Reiko: No, I don't think so. I even didn't tell them that I was coming here. |
潤子ちゃん：
はーーー！！？ |
Junko chan: Whaaaaat? |
シェフチェンコ：
まあまあまあまあ きっと麗子ちゃんも考えることがあってのことだろうし、まあ、しばらくここにいて、今後のことをゆっくり考えたらいいんじゃないかな？ |
Shevchenko: OK OK OK..... I guess Reiko chan decided to come here with some things to think over. So, why don't you stay here with us for a while and contemplate your future? |
麗子：
へ～～～！シェフチェンコさんて、顔に似合わずけっこうジェントルマンやん！おねーちゃん、あんがい掘り出しもんやったんとちゃう？ |
Reiko: Woooow! Mr. Shevchenko is such a gentleman, contrary to his appearance! Sis, beyond your expectations, you really lucked out, didn't you? |
