Shizuka chan is eating breakfast sitting at a long table that spans the room. Across from her, Alex, her husband, is reading a newspaper.

しずかちゃん： （アレックスったら、新聞紙にチョップ入れるの７回目よ …ああ…ロドはまだ拘置所に入れられてるのかしら？だれか、ロドの大好きなまるごとバナナと週刊少年マガジンをちゃんと差し入れしてあげてるかしら？心配だわ…） |
Shizuka chan: (Oh, Alex, that's the seventh time you've karate-chopped the paper... Ahhh....I wonder whether Rod is still in prison. I hope there's someone who has made sure to keep sending Rod his favorite "Marugoto banana" and Shonen Magazine...I'm worried...) |

Alex: Oh!! It seems that Rodriguez has finally been released. |
しずかちゃん： （え！？ロドが保釈…！？）そ、そう… |
Shizuka chan: (What? Rod has been released?) I, I see..... |
アレックス： なになに…「ラブカロリー社元社長のロドリゲス氏は、保釈後、テレビ各局に出演し、独占禁止法違反を認める発言をおこなっている――」 ふ～む…。みずから犠牲になって、愛するラブカロリー社の存続をはかるとは…ロドリゲス君も、なかなかやるね でもこの様子だと、彼ひとりの責任追及で、事が沈静化しそうだな…。彼の逮捕をきっかけに、積年のウミがわんさか、ラブカロリー社存続の危機！…なんて、おやじもとんだ計算違いをしたもんだ |
Alex: Blah blah blah...."Mr. Rodriguez, the former president of Love Calorie, appears on television shows after release from prison and admits that he violated the monopoly law". Hum.... He's sacrificing himself so as to keep his dear Love Calorie alive.... He's really something, right? Well, as far as it goes, only he'll be called to account for the case, and everything will be settled calmly, I guess. His arrest brings something even worse, like the long-standing bad aftereffects. Love Calorie is at stake!... Well well, my father has made such an absurd miscalculation. |
しずかちゃん： え…？いま、なんて？お、お父さまが…？どういうことなの、アレックス？ |
Shizuka chan: Ha...? What did you say now? Your father...? What do you mean, Alex? |
アレックス： ん？しまった！おやじに口止めされてたんだけどね、アハハハ 実はね、これはスリムボーン社のトップシークレット…っていうか、おやじの側近中の側近しか知らないことなんだけど…今回の件は、全部、おやじの仕業なんだよ。彼がラブカロリー社を告発したんだ |

Alex: The reason why Love Calorie managed to successfully develop into such a big company is because, rumor has it, Rodriguez was doing dirty business. My father, the president of Slim Born, decided to reveal his bad deeds and made desperate efforts in order to beat our rival firm, Love Calorie that had been dominating the fitness industry. However, contrary to our expectations, everything seemed to end up being settled amicably, and I suspect that he must have strong political connections...I mean tied to people who have been making a good thing out of his business.
