取引先の結婚式に招待されたアレックスとしずかちゃん。気分が悪くなり、テラスで休んでいたしずかちゃんは、そこで謎の紳士に話しかけられる

Shizuka chan and Alex are invited to the wedding party of a business acquaintance. Shizuka chan who felt sick, is taking a rest on the terrace. Then, a gentleman wrapped in mystery speaks to her directly.

老紳士：
おほん…。おじょうさんや。いま、どなたかのことを考えておったのではないか？ |
Old gentleman: Ahem. Miss? It looked like you were thinking of someone just now - is that correct? |
しずかちゃん：
え……ど、どうしてそれを？ |
Shizuka chan: Ah...How come...how could you tell? |
老紳士：
この歳になったら、世の中のことはだいたいわかるようになる。もしよかったら、そのお方のことを聞かせてはくれんかの |
Old gentleman: A man who is as old as me knows a lot about the world. If you don't mind, would you please tell me a bit about the person? |
しずかちゃん：
…彼とは、もうずっと会ってなくて…今どこで何をしてるかもまったくわからない状態なんです… |
Shizuka chan: I haven't seen him for ages...I don't even have the slightest idea where he is and what he is doing now..... |
老紳士：
なるほど…。それはとても心配じゃな… なあ、お嬢さんや。もしその方の居場所がわかったら、あなたはどうするんじゃ？すぐにでも彼に会いに行くかな？ |
Old gentleman: I see. You must be worried to death.... Well, Miss. What if you knew where he was? Would you go to see him right away? |
しずかちゃん：
え…？彼に会いに…？ …い、いいえ。彼と会うことはありません |
Shizuka chan: Ah...? Go to see him....? No, definitely not. I would never go to see him. |
老紳士：
そ、それはいったいなぜじゃ？彼のことを愛しておるんじゃろ？それに、きっと彼もきみのことを思っているじゃろうに |
Old gentleman: Why ever not? I suppose you're in love with him, no? Besides, he may feel the same way as you do. |
しずかちゃん：
彼には、素敵な奥さんとかわいらしいお子さんがいるんです。彼は、その２人のことをこの世で一番愛しているんです その人は、私にとって最愛の人です。これまでも、これからも でも、わたしにはアレックスという夫がいます。わたしは彼のために生きていく決心をしたんです |
Shizuka chan: He...he has a wonderful wife and a lovely kid. He truly loves them more than anyone else in the world. He's the dearest person I've ever known in my life. Ever...and forever. However, I have Alex, my husband. I've made up my mind to live for him. |
老紳士：
…それは、きみの本心なのかい…？ |
Old gentleman: Is that....what you really feel....? |
しずかちゃん：
…… |
Shizuka chan: ...... |
遠くから２人の様子を見ていたアレックスが近づいてくる

Alex, who was observing them from a distance, approaches.

しずかちゃん、気分はどうだい？少しはよくなったかい？［老紳士のほうを見て］こちらのお方は？ぼくに紹介してくれるかな？ |

しずかちゃん：
ええ。こちらが、先ほどお話しましたわたしの主人アレックスです。アレックス、こちらのお方は…そういえば、お名前をお聞きしていませんでしたね |
Shizuka chan: Yes. This is my husband, Alex, who I talked to you about earlier. Alex, this is.....oh, excuse me, I've forgotten to ask who you are. |
老紳士：
ん？あーいやいや…名乗るほどのものではないんじゃがの。女優しずかちゃんの大ファン、ということにしておいてもらおうか。ほっほっほっほっほっ これからも期待しているよ。菊地凛子ちゃんみたいにビッグになっておくれ。じゃが、ブラピとはぜひ同じシーンで競演してもらいたいもんじゃ では、わしはこのへんで失礼するとしよう。お邪魔しましたな |
Old gentleman: Ah? Oh, no no...I'm just a nobody. Or you could call me a big fan of Actress Shizuka chan, if you like. Hohohohoho. I hope you will always have great success. Alex: It's freezing cold out here, Shizuka chan. It's no good for your health. We should go inside now. (With those sharp eyes of his and extraordinary demeanor...who on earth was that guy..?) |
