Mr. Born, the vice president: Well well well. Please take a seat. We haven’t heard about you for some time….but, it’s good to know that you’re doing fine. At any rate, I’m wondering what brought you here, Mr. Rodriguez. |

Mr. Born, the vice president, is scanning through the papers in silence. After a few moments, he looks up and stares at Rodriguez. |

ロドリゲス： 関連会社の粉飾、政治家への不正献金、復興事業にからむ賄賂、テロリストへの資金提供…おたくは、ありとあらゆることに手を染めているようだ とかく組織ってのは、デカくなればなるほど、何をしても許されるなんて錯覚におちいるもんです。ってなことを言っているわたしも、同じ過ちをおかしたクチですがね これら事実が世の中に出れば、スリムボーン社がどうなるか、あなたならお分かりでしょう |
Rodriguez: Accounting fraud of the affiliate companies, illegal donations to politicians, bribery relating to reconstruction business, and financial assistance to terrorists…. It looks like your corporation has got involved in all manner of things. As an organization gets bigger and bigger, it often comes to embrace the illusion that it can get away with murder. Having said that, I am guilty of having made the same mistake, though. If all these facts were to be exposed to the public, you know well what would happen to Slim Born Co. |

Rodriguez: It’s got nothing to do with the organization at all. I’ve never worked for such bunch of jerks, in the first place. If you lost your strength, they would have everything their own way, instead of you. I’m fed up with getting involved in all these meaningless power struggles. |
