Yonesuke: Playing the martyr? What are you talking about? Whenever a man is under threat of dying, a smile naturally comes out on his face. I recall a story; this happened when I was a child. Walking on my way back home from school after buying Paripari Sakura Daikon at a mom-and-pop candy store nearby, we came across a huge drooling wild dog. I and my friend just threw the daikon to the dog, but the dog didn’t even give it a glance. Rather, the dog was about to pounce on us. We counted to three, then ran away, I mean ran away in different directions. Just at that time, I saw my friend running with me, then, guess what; while making a desperate escape, he was laughing. That was really a cheery laugh. |
