Spacey stars as Francis Underwood, a Democratic congressman spurned by the leader of his party after helping him win the election. Francis, along with his shrewd and supportive wife Claire, thereupon conspire to find another way up the ladder whatever the cost. Remember that in a house of cards, you only have to remove one for them all to come tumbling down.
