Hey everyone, it’s me, MaguMagu-chan. Today I’m going to showcase a cafe in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand!

こんにちは、まぐまぐちゃんです。今回はタイの首都バンコクのカフェを紹介するよ！

Along Sukhumvit Road, a major road where the Skytrain runs, there’s a huge commerce building called ”Interchange 21.” It’s a sleek building, easily accessible from the neighboring MRT Sukhumvit station. On the main floor there’s a Citibank, along with plenty of offices and stores including cafes, a pharmacy, convenience stores, and a food court in the basement.

スカイトレインが走る目抜き通り、スクンビット通り沿いに巨大な商業ビル『インターチェンジ21』があるよ。MRTスクンビット駅の横とアクセス便利なキレイなビルで、メインにはシティバンク、他にも事務所や店舗、カフェ、薬局、コンビニ、また地下にはフードコートなども入っているよ。

Perhaps one of the reasons that so many Japanese visit is that there’s even a branch of the Japanese travel agency H.I.S.

日本の旅行代理店H.I.S.が入居しているためか日本人もよく訪れるそう。

Today I tried going to the ”The Deli House,” a shop on the first floor that sells bread and sweets. Because it’s also a cafe, you can even eat in. I chose banana chocolate cake from the row of cakes I saw in the showcase.

今回は１Fにあるカフェ『The Deli House』に行ってみるよ！　パンとお菓子を売っているお店。カフェも併設されているので、イートインもできるまぐ。ショーケースの中に並んだケーキの中から、バナナチョコケーキをチョイス。

I also had the ”Green Apple Freezy” (95 baht), a frozen tropical drink. It tastes like apple and it’s really good, but maybe because of the Thai heat the air conditioning was way too cold so I was literally freezing. This is something that should definitely be drunk outside.

南国っぽいシャリシャリのフローズンドリンク「Green Apple Freezy（95B）」も飲んでみるまぐ！　りんご味でとってもおいしいんだけど、タイは暑さの反動からか、室内はエアコンが寒すぎるから文字通り凍える～。ぜひ外で飲みたい一品まぐ。
