Gallivanting freely across the land, just how many places has he visited?!
He tracks down stylish cafes the world over and drops in for a cup o’ joe.
Not only does he talk about coffee, but he also sends along the latest local news and pictures.
Hey everyone, it’s me, MaguMagu-chan!
After a flight from Bangkok just shy of an hour, I arrived at a floating resort in Koh Samui. Then I took a high-speed ferry from Mae Nam beach to Koh Tao.
There are only two ferries from Koh Samui to Koh Tao — one in the morning and one around noon –, and they make several stops at islands along the way so it takes just under two hours to get to the port in Mae Haad. It looks like you can also get there with a cheaper fare if you take a night bus from Bangkok and then hop on a boat that gets you to Koh Tao the following morning.
Compared to Koh Samui and Bangkok it’s not all that famous and it seems really remote, so there are relatively few tourists. However, it’s a really popular island for scuba diving and there are many nearby diving spots.
