Tomoko: I don’t think it’s so bad for Bitcoin, per se.
別にビットコイン自体にはそんなに悪いこととかではないと思うよ。
Ryosuke: Why’s that?
なんで？
Tomoko: Well, you can buy drugs with yen, can’t you? I don’t think any government is going to crack down on using their own country’s currency anytime soon.
あのな、円を利用しても麻薬が買えるやん？（麻薬買えるからって）自分とこの通貨を取り締まろうとする政府なんて、ないやろ普通。
Andrew: That’s absolutely right. A lot of the people who attempt to discredit Bitcoin tend to ignore the very same flaws in other forms of currency.
その通り。ビットコインの信用を落としたろういうやつは、他の通貨のことは全然スルーやしな。
Ryosuke: Ah, I see. That’s a really good point. Anyway, it seems like there’s plenty of positive news to go around as well. Someone just bought a Tesla with Bitcoin!
せやな。いい点をついてる。とにかく、ポジティブなニュースもいっぱいあるよね。この前、誰かがビットコインでTeslaの車を買った！
Tomoko: Awesome! I hear Tesla may be on its way to Japan sometime soon. In the meantime, several shops in Japan are starting to accept Bitcoin. The other day I heard about a restaurant in Roppongi where you can experience Bitcoin checkout using a smartphone.
すごい！Teslaはもうそろそろ日本へ進出するらしいやん。その間、ビットコインを受け付ける日本の店も増えてきた。この前、スマホを利用してビットコインで払える六本木の店についていろいろ聞いたよ。

Andrew: It looks like new merchants and services are popping up every second.

Tomoko: Yeah. I remember a year or so ago when one of the only things it seemed you could buy was alpaca socks.

Andrew: It’s pretty incredible. In fact, last month the San Jose Quakes (American pro soccer team) announced that they’re partnering with Coinbase to accept Bitcoin payments at their stadium.
ほんまにすごいよね。そうそう、先月サンノゼ・アースクエイクスというアメリカのプロサッカーチームがCoinbase社と提携して、自分のスタジアムでビットコインを受け付けると発表したよ。
Ryosuke: I guess you could say that Bitcoin has gone pro!
